How to Build a Prepper Library – Best Preparedness Books
Here are some of the best preparedness books to help you build your prepper library. You may see some familiar ones here, but what I really wanted to do with this list is to get people familiar with different books outside of just ‘SAS Survival Guide’.
When it comes to building your prepper library, look for books that you don’t just want now, but that you’ll want in the future. Can’t be a beekeeper now? Maybe you can in the future. Acquiring the books now will help you be as prepared as possible for whatever may come our way.
You can acquire these books in physical form or eBook form and protect it via a thumb drive in a faraday cage.
Build your library over time. Head to used book stores and get a one or two at a time, depending on your budget. Make sure to skim through it at the very least to see if it even fits your needs. Sometimes a book sounds amazing and then I get my hands on it and it’s quite disappointing. Don’t keep books in your library that are not what you expected.
In addition to books, print out recipes and articles that you find online, as well.
Of course, nobody expects you to have all of these books. There may be some that inspire you to look for other types of books. There are even some types of books that I haven’t listed here, such as home repair, car repair, etc. Head to used book stores or check out used books at a website like Biblio.com to find good deals or books you may never have heard of before.
Look at your everyday goals as well as future goals, and even goals you don’t know if you’ll ever meet, and gain knowledge on a wide variety of topics. You may not get around to that book until years down the line, but at least you have it.
Books and knowledge are extremely valuable.
