Hello! My name is Susy. I’m an author. My first published books were a post-apocalyptic romance series. The series explores how people survive, build community, and find love when resources are scarce and law and order break down. The books reflect my longstanding interest in preparedness. Knowing I’ve done what I can to get ready for whatever might come gives me peace of mind. I came by this naturally. I grew up hearing Grandma’s stories about the Dust Bowl, the Depression, and World War II rationing. The day after Pearl Harbor, suspecting sugar might be rationed, Grandma went to the store and purchased as much sugar as she could afford. The world feels especially uncertain right now. Having a well-stocked pantry helps me sleep at night.
