You don’t have to wait until the holiday season or a birthday to give a gift. When it comes to thinking of others, we should be doing it all year long! Also, a gift doesn’t have to be an item, it could be an experience or education. I’ll give some suggestions below.

Here are some gift ideas for the prepper in your life:

Here are some ideas that aren’t physical items but rather experiences:

  • Go camping
  • Go hiking
  • Sign up for a class to learn a new skill (online or off)
  • Go fishing
  • Go hunting
  • Create a scavenger hunt
  • Travel to a new town and be “tourists” to practice situational awareness and other skills
  • Go on an urban walk
  • Go to the shooting range (gun or archery…or both!)
  • Search for wild edibles
  • Practice knife or axe throwing
  • Go off roading
  • Take a road trip
  • Go on a bike ride
  • Build them a bunker! (ok, not an experience but hey…we can dream…!)

There are so many more ideas but I thought I’d throw these out there. You know the person best and what he/she likes/wants/needs.

What are some other ideas?

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
