Gift Ideas For Preppers

You don’t have to wait until the holiday season or a birthday to give a gift. When it comes to thinking of others, we should be doing it all year long! Also, a gift doesn’t have to be an item, it could be an experience or education. I’ll give some suggestions below.
If you have someone in your life who enjoys preparedness, outdoors, camping, hiking, etc., then these gift ideas will be just the ticket!
Here are some gift ideas for the prepper in your life:
- Books – not just on prepper/survival/outdoor related topics, but on any new skill that you think they might like
- Anything from Grim Workshop
- Get them a Bear Bowl
- Anything deck from Conflicted The Card Game
- Any water container from Smart Bottle
- A new knife, perhaps the Gerber Flatiron or TOPS Fire Strike
- Fireproof and waterproof document bag
- Water purification such as the Survivor Filter or Renovo Water Filter
- Gift card to their favorite grocery store or Walmart or other store that they frequent
- Mylar bags
- Tourniquet
- KA-BAR Fishing System

- Their favorite coffee or tea
- That dehydrator that they’ve had their eye on
- Anything from Wazoo Survival Gear
- Anything from Don’t Die In The Woods
- Any fire starters from Black and White Fire Starters

Here are some ideas that aren’t physical items but rather experiences:
- Go camping
- Go hiking
- Sign up for a class to learn a new skill (online or off)
- Go fishing
- Go hunting
- Create a scavenger hunt
- Travel to a new town and be “tourists” to practice situational awareness and other skills

- Go to the shooting range (gun or archery…or both!)
- Search for wild edibles
- Practice knife or axe throwing
- Go off roading
- Take a road trip
- Go on a bike ride
- Build them a bunker! (ok, not an experience but hey…we can dream…!)
There are so many more ideas but I thought I’d throw these out there. You know the person best and what he/she likes/wants/needs.
What are some other ideas?

I think water keys are inexpensive gifts. I found mine at HOME DEPOT. Great stocking stuffers.
As much as I talk about the sillcock key, I’m ashamed it’s not on this list. Hah. Thanks for adding the idea!
