Is bugging out a fantasy? No, it’s not. In some cases it’s a requirement.

I think some people get confused when they hear the term ‘bugging out’. They imagine someone dressed in camo running off into the woods to live in a tent for the rest of their lives.

This is not necessarily the case.

If you need to think about it differently, think about every natural disaster that happens and all of the people who are displaced from their homes because they must leave out of the danger zone.

It’s evacuating, but we just happen to call it ‘bugging out’.

In some cases, you may need to bug out for a longer period than just a few days. In some cases, people are permanently displaced from their homes and have to create a whole new life elsewhere.

Whatever the case may be, is a long term bug out even possible?

I talk about the harsh reality of what a long term bug out might look like and what you may need to consider.
